February 2013: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La contributed VND50,000,000 to Peoples Committee of Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City to organize the Spring Festival 2013.  

January 2013: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La is committed to contribute VND30,000,000 to "The Poor Fund" of Binh Tri Dong B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City and VND24,000,000 to support for 4 special poor families in Binh Tri Dong B Ward.  

January 2012: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La is committed to contributing VND600,000,000 to “The Poor Fund”  over the next three years, starting from 2012. “The Poor Fund” will help relieve the suffering of many poor and homeless people, the elderly, disabled and orphans through resettlement and rehabilitation programmes.  

March 2011: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La supported the Vietnam Red Cross by donating VND20,000,000 to aid the Japanese earthquake and tsunami victims of  March 2011. Established in 1946, the Vietnamese Red Cross is a leading charity based in Hanoi with a wide range of networks worldwide to promote humanity, peace and friendship. 

February 2011: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La provided VND50,000,000 to “The Poor Fund”  to meet  the needs of the poor, homeless, disabled and orphaned towards better living conditions and a more secure future.

November 2010: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La supported The Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients by donating VND50,000,000 to aid victims in Minh Hoa Town (Quang Ngai Province) which was badly hit by floods in October 2010. Established in 1994, The Ho Chi Minh City Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients aims to contribute to the promotion of health and social welfare amongst the people of the area.   

Dec 2009: Hoa Lam-Shangri-La contributed VND50,000,000 to “The Poor Fund” to improve the living environment of the  poor, homeless, elderly and orphaned in Binh Tan District.
